LAND
Finding the right piece of property, if you do not already own it, can be time-consuming and often intimidating. To assist in the search for property we have trusted resources in the real estate community, and our team keeps close tabs on the local market to know what is available. Prior to purchase we suggest a site visit so that we can advise on constructibility and feasibility.
DESIGN
Planning is unquestionably the most important part of the entire build process. True North has the ability to completely design and draw your home plans. Visualization is essential when designing a custom home, and to that end we will present your design using 3D capabilities. We feel it is imperative to design each structure to take full advantage of all the site has to offer. A site visit is critical so that we can optimize views and terrain before beginning conceptual design. Whether you come to us with an elaborate plan or a sketch on a napkin, we can bring it to life.
FINANCING
Obtaining a construction loan can seem like a daunting task, especially if you have never done it before. We have relationships with several local lenders that understand the second home market in Wisconsin's northwoods. We can introduce you to a representative at one or all of these institutions to get you the right financing plan for your project, and make this uncomfortable part of the process as painless as possible.
BUILD
We understand the entire building process can seem intimidating, especially when the customer's primary residence is hundreds of miles away. Consistent and meaningful communication is paramount to the success of any custom home building project. From the onset we will set up a day and time for a weekly phone or video call to update on such things as progress, scheduling, issues or concerns, etc. The build process is a collaborative effort amongst all involved, and keeping everyone engaged and informed is necessary to achieve the desired results. Regular exchanges of photos and videos keep you, the homeowner, involved and excited. It also gives you an opportunity to point out anything you may see as a concern, and make any desired changes during the build.
